The Frostig School Summer Arts Program
For Students with Learning Disabilities
Beginning Ceramics
In this course students will have the opportunity to learn techniques in wheel thrown pottery and hand building. Students will be exposed to historical and contemporary examples of ceramics and receive instruction and hands on work time. Students in this course will have access to our indoor/outdoor facility, pottery wheels, storage area and tools during scheduled meeting hours of the class. All work will be fired by instructor.

Jewelry Making/ Silk Screening
Students will work hands on with beads, found objects and clay to create, package, present and market each unique collection. In the second half of the course students will learn the art of silk-sreening and its applicationin art and industry. Students will have the opportunity to sell or exhibit their projects at our end of summer boutique.

*Tuition is $295 per class. All materials are included.
Classroom size is limited to 12 students
Student/Teacher Ratio never exceeds 6 to 1
