The Frostig School Summer Arts Program
For Students with Learning Disabilities

The Frostig Summer Arts Program provides students with an opportunity to explore and develop their unique artistic talents, creating an environment where learning disabilities often become powerful creative assets.

Beginning Ceramics
Students will learn the basics of ceramics from hand-building techniques to throwing on the wheel. Studnts will gain foundation knowledge about ceramics including building, sculpting and surface decoration. All students will finish the class with 3-5 fired, glazed, and completed pieces.

Printmaking, Silk Screening and Game Board Design
First, students will learn the art of printmaking. Week s they will decide if they want to pursue silk-screening, eventually designing their own tee-shirts or game board design where they will push their creatiuvity to the limit building orginal chess, checker or Monopoply boards.

*Tuition is $295 per class. All materials are included.
Classroom size is limited to 12 students
Student/Teacher Ratio never exceeds 6 to 1
