As part of our three part mission, the
Frostig Center offers a number of
direct services, designed to help individuals with learning
disabilities.
Our Day School program
serves students with learning disabilities from
grades 1 through 12. Our after
school tutoring program provides support to
help students with learning struggles. Summer
Workshops are 6 week classes
that meet a few times a week, designed to help students
strengthen weak
academic areas. Our Helpline
is a free service to our community, linking
people to services that can help them or their children
tackle their school
related problems.
We are excited to announce that beginning in the Fall of 2009,The Frostig Center will be offering TEMPUS, a semester-long transitional support program which aims to prepare students with learning disabilities for success in their post-secondary studies at college.
