The Consultation and Education Department (C & E) is dedicated to informing the community about the educational and developmental needs of children. Through our outreach programs, we are helping professionals and paraprofessionals better serve those students who struggle with learning. We also strive to erase misunderstandings about individuals with identified learning disabilities. Our goal is to help schools equip their staff with knowledge and techniques (strategies, interventions and practices) to assist these students to successfully meet educational and life challenges.
The team has consulted and trained in both public and private schools, pre-school through high school level. The department is directed by a child psychologist and includes child development specialists, special education teachers, educational specialists, educational diagnosticians and curriculum specialists.
