Roberta Goldberg, Ph.D.
Dr. Goldberg received her Doctorate in Developmental Psychology and School psychology from the University of Minnesota. At the Frostig Center, she has served as Clinical Director, Director of the Consultation and Education Department and currently is Director of the Community Outreach Department. Dr. Goldberg speaks frequently to audiences concerning children's learning and behavior and publishes regularly in the area of longitudinal studies of children with learning disabilities.
Rae McCormick, Ed.D.
Dr. McCormick began her professional work as an elementary classroom teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District, and then became the director and owner of a private reading school in South Pasadena. She received her M.A. and Reading Specialist Credential from California State University at Los Angeles, and her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Southern California. She was Director of the Occidental College Reading Clinic for ten years, Director of Occidental’s Center for Teaching and Learning for twelve years and Professor of Education at Occidental College, where she supervised student teachers and taught classes in Language and Literature for Elementary Schools and Educational Leadership. Currently she is Professor Emeritus at Occidental College School of Education and a consultant to the Frostig Community Outreach Department.
Linda Barker, M.A.
Linda Barker has a Masters Degree in Marriage, Child and Family Counseling from Pacific Oaks College and holds a Pupil Personnel Credential. She has been with the Frostig Center since 1998 as the Community Outreach Program Supervisor. She previously provided counseling services in mental health settings and elementary schools and has had extensive experience in teaching Early Childhood Education and Parent Education programs.
Beverlee Paine, M.A.
Beverlee Paine was a Master Teacher and Elementary Program Supervisor at the Frostig School for 10 years. She has been a member of the Frostig Center Consultation and Education Department for the past 10 years as an Educational Consultant, Professional Development Instructor and Curriculum Developer. Beverlee received her B. A. from Westmont College, Santa Barbara, California and earned Multiple Subject Credential, L.H. Specialist Certificate and Masters in Special Education from University of California, Los Angeles.
Andrea Lombardi. B.A.
Andrea Lombardi has been involved in Special Education for twenty-five years, serving as a school Coordinator, Principal and Curriculum Specialist. She was a Master Teacher at the Frostig School for ten years, then transferred to the Frostig Center’s Community Outreach Department, where she has served as an Educational Consultant, Professional Development Instructor and Curriculum Developer. She has presented extensively on the subject of the Success Attributes to parent groups, classroom staff and other professionals who work with children with Learning Differences. Andrea holds Life and Special Education, L.H. credentials.
Jean Petersen, B.S.
Jean holds a B.S. from the University of California, Davis and worked for many years in the business world, then conducted a home based word processing business while her children were small. When returning to the career field, she joined the Frostig Consultation & Education Department. She currently handles administrative, contractual, financial and publicity activities for the department.
